A wide variety of adult programming at Indian Run provides a wonderful way to connect, while serving or sharing your passion for the glory of God.

Offerings include:  Bible Studies, Women’s, Men’s and Couple’s Groups, OWLS (Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors), MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), Grief Share, and many more!

 

The Breakfast Ministry at IRUMC provides an atmosphere of fellowship for our two congregations to mix and get-to-know one another. Each Sunday between services from 10:30 – 11am, a hot breakfast is served in Fellowship Hall. (Continental breakfast only on holidays and during the summer.) Four people needed each Sunday.

Indian Run believes it is of vital importance to show the love of Christ in our care for one another. When additional care is required, the Care Ministry Team addresses unique life circumstances. We walk together through times of celebration, as well as, times of despair. In doing so, we strive to show the world a healthy model of Christian love and living.

 

This ministry prepares the elements used in the Communion Service held every first Sunday of the month. This includes filling the juice cups and the bread plates as well as sanitizing all the utensils before and after the Communion services. Seven people also needed for each service to serve. There are sign-ups for these schedules.

Connection Groups provide the life-changing community of Indian Run.  These “small groups” are the best means for becoming connected, whether exploring faith for the first time or wanting to deepen your faith commitment.  Connection Groups provide a safe circle of friends out of which one may explore what it means to be a follower of Christ, while growing your knowledge of the Bible.

 

The focus of the ministry of men is not inward, concentrating only on those who attend a set meeting, but outward to all men, assisting them to engage the process of spiritual growth. Our mission is to support spiritual growth among men, helping men to mature as disciples as they encourage spiritual formation in others. Everything desired from and through men comes as a result of men growing spiritually and maturing as disciples: family blessings, stewardship, service, outreach, prayer, spiritual leadership, lifestyle evangelism, and faithful obedience. Men are foundational to the life and health of the church. Our goal is to empower the ministry of Jesus Christ through all men within the congregation of Indian Run. UMM sponsors a variety of fellowship and mission events for all men of Indian Run, Indian Run Congregation and the community.

From collecting food for our local friends in need, to supporting the homeless in Southern Ohio, to helping rebuild churches with the people of Haiti, Indian Run is committed to growing love with others through a variety of local, national, and international organizations.

 

Indian Run offers vocal and instrumental music opportunities, giving people of all ages the occasion to make a joyful noise to the Lord. Opportunities include traditional choir, contemporary praise band and bell choir.
