At Indian Run, we are committed to providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment to help all children (ages 6 weeks to 6th grade) from our community to grow in God’s love.
A trained and experienced nursery staff is available to care for your child ages six weeks to three years during both Sunday morning worship services at Indian Run.
Our competent, caring staff and loving volunteers provide a clean, safe environment for infants and toddlers. Parents are then free to attend worship, participate in a small group or Sunday school class or volunteer their time within the church knowing that their children are well cared for in the nursery.
In the nursery, your child will have many opportunities to interact with other children, play with toys and hear about how God loves them. We provide an age appropriate space with toys, books, puzzles and other fun activities.

Where the Children of Indian Run Grow in God’s Love.
Grace Place is Indian Run’s Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry Program. It is offered during both the 9:30a.m. Traditional Worship Service and 11:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service. Children ages 3 through 5th grade will experience God’s word through an exciting curriculum including Bible stories, games, activities, creative writing, drawing projects and music. To provide you the opportunity to choose the service that best fits your schedule, the curriculum is repeated at both services. An Indian Run, we use “Orange” curriculum in Grace Place because we believe that the two most important influences in a child’s life are home and church. Your child will experience God’s teachings like never before!

K4J is a faith enrichment program that follows the school year. It allows children in 3rd — 5th grades an opportunity to fellowship with a small group of friends and together, learn how important it is to serve others and dive into the Word of God. We want them to understand Christian values, and discover the principle of prayer as a foundation for formally declaring their own faith at Confirmation. Each grade level is their own group and each group is led by an adult mentor (s) and meets 2 — 4 times per month for an hour or more, depending on the group. Meetings are held at church, but occasionally, groups perform service projects and hold fun fellowship events offsite.

Special Events
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a special time of year for both the children of our community and our congregation. During one week, each Summer, kids ages 4 – 5th grade learn about God and Jesus’s teachings while having a blast with their friends! Check back for more details!
Throughout the year, we come together for family-friendly events like Pizza, Paint, & Praise, Advent Wreath Making, and more. These special events are great opportunities for families at Indian Run to spend quality time together and to get to know other families within the congregation. There’s something for all God’s children at Indian Run!

Servant Opportunities
It takes many hands and willing hearts to support our children and their programs at Indian Run! As a congregation, we are partners in the Christian education of all children who attend Indian Run. We encourage all teens through senior citizens and everyone in between to serve in Children’s Ministry, whether in Grace Place or the Nursery or other special events. In accordance with our Safe Sanctuary policy and procedures, you will be required to complete and online application and background check release. You can begin that process here.

We abide by the West Ohio Conference Safe Sanctuary Policies which sets forth procedures for all of those serving in our ministries, including paid and unpaid, to ensure the physical, emotional and spiritual safety of all of our children, youth, and vulnerable adults.
